Command Initialize Configuration (menu Sudoku)

Use this command to initialize the starting grid, also called initial configuration.

When the grid is manually entered, and this command applied, all not empty cells will be considered as starting value (black color). The grid difficulty will be set based on the number of empty cells.

You can use the command Reset Configuration to come back to the startup grid.

The use of the initial configuration allow to return at any time (in case of errors or impossibility) or to start again the grid.

In initial configuration, colour values is by default in black and grey background, and can be changed in the Preferences panel / Page Colour. A value entry after will be blue.
