Panel Solve Method

The following parameters for automatic solving proposal can be modified in this panel methods. These parameters can be saved and reloaded in the file ".sud."

Change the selected method by clicking on a button.
Click OK to close the window. Click on Default to select simple methods/filters, All and None to select all or none of them.

Selected Methods

Specifies resolution methods to be used to solve the grid automatically:

-       When the cell contains only 1 possible (using cross between lines, columns and blocks), it is found.

-       The method Single is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Single". 

-        The Group method is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Group XXX," then the selected group associated. For a complete resolution, select all groups of 2 to 7 and more. 

-         The method Random is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Random".

-         The method Variant is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Variant".

-     The method Colouring is detailed here. To use it, select "Colouring".

-     The method Forcing Chain is detailed here. To use it, select "Forcing chain" .

Selected Filters

Specifies filters to be used to solve the grid automatically:

-         By Default, possibles obtained by cross lines, columns and blocks are automatically used to filter possible.

-         The Probable filter is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Probable". The probable values identified  are used in the resolution. Not to be confused with the button "Display Probable" available in the menu and tool bar that displays probables in small frame in cells.

-         The Varient filter is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Varient".

-        The Burma filter is detailed at this location. To use it, select "Burma XXX," then the selected group associated.
